The
sudden death of one of Nigeria’s successful blogger/writer, Abdulhakeem
Bauchin Bauchi, in Bauchi state, has hit the social media after he was
declared missing.

According to his family members, Abdul whose
writings centered on Human Rights was killed, body chopped into parts by
unknown persons and his body dumped on the roadside. He was scheduled
to have his wedding in a few weeks’ time. Meanwhile his friends have
taken to Facebook to mourn his death.

His brother, Aminun Bauchin Bauchi, took to his
Facebook wall to pour out his tribute to his late brother which was done
briefly in English and the major part of the text in Islamic writings.
He used the medium to mourn his dead brother, adding that may Allah
forgive him his sins and may the perpetrators of this evil act be
apprehended soon.
